If Bizzy Darling were to write a book on how to become successful in the real estate profession, many of the chapters would likely emphasize the importance of relationships. Darling believes real estate is about forming relationships not making sales. “It’s about what’s best for my clients and striving to provide excellent customer service with ethics and integrity.”
Darling has been a REALTOR® for about five years. Before her real estate career took off, Darling spent years helping people as a licensed counselor. She says similar skills are used in both professions with the goal being to help others.
“When you’re working with people that are buying and selling their most important assets you’re dealing with a lot of different emotions.” “For me it’s (real estate) been a good career because I can help people at such a critical time and try to make it as smooth as possible.”
Darling and her husband are empty nesters. They moved to Boerne about 16 years where she’s been an active supporter of several nonprofits including Hill Country Daily Bread Ministries. In fact, she chose to work for Coldwell Banker because of its philanthropic history; each of the nine offices support a different charity.
Darling works with clients in Boerne, Bulverde and the San Antonio area. She says this real estate market remains strong for sellers, but she wouldn’t say it’s a seller’s market everywhere. It depends on the neighborhood. Her advice to those looking to sell this spring is to talk to an agent and learn what needs to be done to get the house ready to go on the market. “They need to talk to a REALTOR® and have a good market analysis, and then they need to clear out the clutter.”
Darling would advise potential 36棋牌 buyers to work with an agent instead of just looking online because oftentimes websites have outdated information.
“It’s really never been a better time to get a mortgage, and the prices for a seller have never been where they are now,” she said. “We’re in the best market we could be in today.”
