Is your H-E-B & Zilkerbark photo going on your holiday card?
If you’re like a lot of furry-friend owners out there, your pet is another member of your family. They eat when you eat, sleep when you sleep, going on family vacations with you and have been there through all of the major life milestones. So now that the holiday season is here and you’ll be sending out cards to everyone you know, it makes sense to include Lucy & Buddy in your picture! Luckily, for the some’ 1,500 people who attended & Zilkerbark’s Texas Pet Tour – Holiday Edition events, choosing what picture to include will be as easy as getting your dog to eat a slice of cheese!
In late November, dog owners in Austin, Houston, and San Antonio were able to attend a renowned local park in their respective city for holiday-themed fun and it was a barking good time. If there’s one store that knows exactly how much pets mean to their owners here in Texas, it’s They decided to team up with Zilkerbark, the ultra-talented, Texas-based pet photographer with an army of almost 200,000 Instagram followers and counting, to bring howliday cheer to Texan pups.
Every city’s event was a hit!
There were treat giveaways, activities for the doggos, photos with Santa, and more!

…and even more photo-ops, besides the cuteness that was coming out of Zilkerbark’s booths.
Last but certainly not least, for every photo taken by Zilkerbark, fur parents donated $10 to support Service Dogs Inc. — a non-profit that aims to build better lives for challenged Texans by providing them with custom-trained Assistance Dogs. After the final event had ended, more than $15,000 was raised!
H-E-B’s partner shelters, Austin Humane Society, Friends For Life in Houston and Animal Defense League in San Antonio, were all onsite taking donations and offering up some cute puppy love that was looking for a happy 36棋牌 this holiday season, as well.
One thing is for sure, hopes all families who attended had as much fun as they did. There’s nothin’ like celebrating our furry loved ones and raising money for such a good paws, oops… we meant cause!
